Bromeliad Study Group
Of Balboa Park
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the Casa del Prado Library, room 104, in Balboa Park, San Diego. The room is open at 6:30 and our library is open from 6:30 until 9:00. Escort service to your automobile after the meeting is available on request. We always have an "opportunity table" so members and guests have a chance to acquire bromeliads at $1.
Guests, visitors, and new members are always welcome!
Dues for the year are $10 per person or $12 per couple and include subscription to the newsletter.
Our annual Judged Show and Sale is always Memorial Day Weekend in room 101 of the Casa del Prado, Balboa Park. In 2008 that is May 24 and 25.
We volunteer in the Kent Bromeliad Garden or shadecloth house at the San Diego Zoo most Saturday mornings.
