St. Teresa of Liseiux
St. Teresa of Liseiux (the little flower) has just been made a Doctor of
the Catholic Church. A giant among men, she loves DIVINITY with all her
heart, honors the shadow, and is a very 'gutsy' human being. Here are some
of her words the Church doesn't quote. "When you become your true self: a
mystic, then the Church doesn't help you any more, you help the Church!".
To her mother superior: "You put too much energy into washing clothes, that makes
the material too important. SPIRIT is our home". "When I go to heaven I'll become
a regular little thief, I'll steal, many things will disappear from HEAVEN and go
to MOTHER-EARTH, especially roses! I'll take whatever I please without permission!"
To her novice master who was kissing jesus' feet on the cross: "No, give him a
sweet, quick kiss on each cheek and demand that he embrace you!". We are dead
compared to such alive people.
