Emotional Maturity

Jesus Christ, that great Jewish Rabbi, worked mostly physical miracles. Now we need emotional miracles. One may have a doctor's degree and it won't get you out of depression, nor will money. What logic is to the mind, morals are to the emotions. Parents (foster parents, only God is parent) should teach children to feel joyful when they do moral good and feel sad when they do moral wrong. For the most part, American husbands and wives teach their children to feel joyful when a new car is bought or feel sad when rain cancels a picnic. So their emotions have nothing to do with their morals and they grow up to be emotional messes = U.S.A. What is your highest good? When you firmly possess that it's called joy. When that good is threatened and you feel you can handle the situation that is anger, when you feel you can't handle the situation that is fear, and when what is good for you is taken away that is sadness. This is a picture of a mature human, spiritual being. However, since we have free will, we can build all our emotions around a piece of property. Example, my Cadillac is paid for -> joy, My Cadillac is paid for and someone threatens to dent it -> anger, they have a gun and threaten to take my car away -> fear, they take my car away -> sadness. Jesus Christ said "Seek first the Queendom/Kingdom of heaven and all else is provided". Living that I would have had a nice, simple used car and they wouldn't have bothered me.
