Children of Conservative Parents
When a child of 'conservative' parents is growing up, studies proove,
the child is given about 10 to 12 mind sets or attitudes, commandments,
as the core of its life, usually about 8 of these are principles and
the other attitudes tell the little one how to interpret these
attitudes, and never question authority, and this is said to bring
peace of mind, which it doesn't. The basic attitudes form grooves in
the brain and when there is pressure from life the child learns not
to look for new attitudes but to go back to the old 'grooves' for
'false' comfort. The baby of more open minded parents learns to question
authority, to seenew perspectives which create new brain grooves which
is not threatening, it's joyful. Also if we have not worked thru our
parental hang ups, then we only react to life: under pressure,
do what parents did. There are no parents on this planet, only foster
parents. 'Liberal' children have had some therapy or counselling, get out
of parental ruts (only difference between a rut and a grave is the size)
and are free to respond to life, so they are attacked by
non-free conservatives. We each have conservative and non-conservative
parts, so lets love and learn from each other, pray and not blame.
