The Children of Today
Working as a chaplin with Native Americans one is constantly confronted
with eternal wisdom. I asked a venerated Kumeyaay Elder: "Why are children
so violent these days?". She replied, "Because their parents are stuck in
the material and do not show them how to be children of God!" Parents are
not parents, only foster parents! Great Spirit is our mother/father! This
Earth Mother is not our home. How much love do you get in an orphanage? Don't
blame children for being violent. They came here to rescue Mother Earth and
Humanity and no one is showing them how! This mixed up society, without
any moral values, deeply confuses the children. And the intense energy
coming down from the star universe stirs up deep emotion. So, not to go
insane, they do violent things. We need to listen to our children. The
main problem is, all segments of society are putting greed, security, casinos,
wall street, materialism, consumerism, militarism ahead of love of God and
neighbor. Many people today have a death wish. For example they called
Princess Diana, Princess 'Di', so she did, an unconscious projected death
wish. Listen to peoples' vocabulary: 'Over my dead body' 'I'm a failure'
'I hate you' etc... Society never has chosen children over adults. School
buses have no seat belts. Most adults only know their "ego", tinsel,
personality and not their true self. No love their! We need to go within
where children and adults are equal. Teach children affirmations to say
aloud "I'm glad I'm me", "I'm glad I'm a girl/boy", "I have a joyful
divine mission" etc... Say "I love your outfit" then add, "I love you much
more than your outfit"!!! !!!!
